Mobile Home Community Groundskeeper

Location of opening: Lancaster, OH

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to maintain the common areas of our mobile home community in Lancaster, OH. This role is heavily focused on lawn care and landscaping upkeep to ensure the community always looks clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests. This is a part- time position averaging 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the overall appearance of the community by mowing lawns, trimming edges, weed control, and general landscaping.
• Pick up trash/debris from common areas and streets daily; empty trash containers as needed.
• Perform seasonal grounds work including leaf removal, mulching, planting flowers/shrubs, trimming hedges, snow removal, and other lawn care tasks.
• Safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Monitor and maintain community equipment in good working order.
• Assist with removal of fallen branches and minor storm cleanup as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and community policies while on the job.
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months of prior groundskeeping, landscaping, or lawn maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques and experience using hand tools, power equipment, and commercial landscaping machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to occasionally respond to business needs after normal hours (such as storm cleanup or snow removal).
• Basic computer proficiency (email/internet).
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
