Position Summary:

The Grounds Employee maintains the facility’s grounds, ensuring safe and well-kept grounds.

Essential Functions:

Maintain grounds

Assist in receiving of large freight deliveries

Assist office personnel with needs as they arise

Assist other support areas as needed

Assist in facility maintenance

Operate forklift and heavy equipment

Additional Job-Related Duties:

Comply with federal and state law, regulations, and all company rules.

Participate in online and in-person training and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Any other job-related activities requested by immediate supervisor.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of relevant experience is required.

Completion of forklift truck mechanics training course required.

Proficient in operating and maintaining landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, rigging, painting etc. Known for a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and pulling.

Must be able to operate power equipment.

Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Must be able to move up to 50lbs at a time.

Working Conditions:

This position is normally performed outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.

The work environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.

This position may require a flexible schedule, and periodic overtime as needed.
