Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, committed, and possess a "can-do" and positive attitude with a proven record of delivering solutions. Candidates that hold an active Mortgage Loan Originator license in any State and have at least 2-years of professional mortgage experience will be preferred. Candidates with at least 1-year of professional mortgage experience who are committed to obtaining a Mortgage Loan Originator license with diligence under Groundwork’s sponsorship will be strongly considered. Responsibilities: • Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness • Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval • Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files • Input detailed loan process documentation in our system - from origination to close • Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial Qualifications: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement • Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail • FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required • Minimum of 2+ years loan processing experience required • Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required Compensation: $50,000 +
