Social Media Video Editing Internship (Remote) Group 82 Music - Los Angeles, CA Internship Website: www.group82music.com Location: Los Angeles, CA or Remote ABOUT GROUP 82 MUSIC: Group 82 Music is an artist-driven platform that builds step-by-step plans to get artists and producers to 1 Million Streams on Spotify. We provide a myriad of services to aid music entrepreneurs in growing their digital footprint. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Will edit 60 second videos for Group 82 Artists Instagram accounts * Will edit YouTube videos for Group 82 Artists YouTube accounts * Will co-direct all videos for Group 82 Artists/Producers * Will be required to present new video ideas for Group 82 artists on a weekly basis to upper management * Ability to handle multimedia equipment if necessary (Camera, lighting rig, microphones) * Must understand story structure, building on a progression of ideas and crescendos in both short (60 seconds) and long video format REQUIREMENTS: * Must be passionate about social media video (Instagram and YouTube) * Must have access to own computer with applicable video editing software * Must have a reliable internet connection, smart phone, Gmail account and social media (An Active Instagram account) * Knowledge and access to Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier or Avid Media Composer * Experience with Color Correction, Sound Editing, Text Editing and Graphic Design in videos * Knowledge and access to Adobe Photoshop * Knowledge and access to VFX Software (After Effects, Nuke, etc) * Comfortable working remotely and independently on projects * Ability to write concisely and with a strong voice, without typo or delay * Availability of at least 20 hours a week and some weekends * Must have a passion and an open mind towards hip-hop/rap * Must be comfortable dealing with short deadlines, revisions and possible 48-hour turnaround times * Must pay extreme attention to detail QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a High School Graduate. Current undergraduate and graduate students have the potential to earn academic credit. Entrepreneurial street credentials.
