Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Group Class Assistant to support our instructors during adaptive fitness classes. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the lead instructor during group classes with set-up, demonstrations, and one-on-one support for participants.
Provide encouragement and ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive workout environment.
Help monitor client progress and communicate any observations to the lead instructor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of class areas and equipment.
Model professionalism and uphold the mission and values of Special Strong.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older.
CPR certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred, but not required.
Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to creating a supportive environment for clients.
Training and Support
We provide all necessary training and ongoing mentorship through the Special Strong education system. No prior fitness experience is required—just a passion for helping others!
