    Are you a passionate fitness leader ready to inspire both members and instructors? Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club (HFAC) is looking for an experienced Group Exercise Supervisor to oversee our group fitness department. As a vital part of our Leadership Team, you’ll help drive engagement, retention, and excellence across our instructor community. The ideal candidate combines a love of fitness, exercise science, and human behavior with strong leadership and business skills. You’ll guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing instructor team while ensuring HFAC’s programs deliver top-tier experiences and align with our brand standards. Responsibilities: • Lead, coach, and develop the Group Exercise Instructor team to deliver exceptional member experiences. • Recruit, onboard, and retain talented instructors who embody HFAC’s mission and values. • Manage department performance data and reporting to meet budget goals and improve engagement. • Coordinate the group exercise schedule, ensuring balanced class offerings and operational excellence. • Maintain organized, clean, and fully equipped studios while overseeing inventory and equipment needs. • Collaborate with Membership Sales and Marketing teams to promote classes and drive participation. • Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork throughout the club. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field). • Minimum 2 years of experience in the fitness industry, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. • Strong knowledge of exercise physiology and fitness operations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong member service mindset. • Current First Aid & CPR/AED certification. • Nationally recognized Group Exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent). Compensation: $25 hourly
