They bring the dream. You bring the magic!
Private Event Manager
Location: Yountville, CA
Compensation: $85,000 – $90,000 Annually + Commission
Experience: 3+ Years in Luxury F&B/Events
The Role
The hotel doesn’t just host meetings and weddings; they orchestrate "I can’t believe this is real" moments. Recently named one of the best hotels in California by Condé Nast Traveler, our 22-acre estate is the premier backdrop for luxury events in Napa Valley.
We are looking for a Private Event Manager who is a master of the "Live Performance." You are the bridge between a client's dream and a flawlessly executed reality. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a heart for hospitality, and the leadership chops to run 55,000 square feet of world-class event space, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do (The Mission)
The Orchestrator: You own the event from the final "yes" to the last guest’s departure. You’ll oversee everything from high-stakes corporate summits to iconic vineyard weddings.
The Detail Detective: You’ll turn client preferences into meticulous Event Orders (BEOs). Menus, room sets, AV, and staffing—if it’s happening on the floor, you’ve planned for it.
Team Captain: You will recruit, train, and inspire our banquet and event staff. You aren’t just a manager; you’re a mentor who ensures our service standards are as breathtaking as our views.
The "Fixer": In the fast-paced world of live events, you remain the calmest person in the room. You solve problems before the guest even knows they exist.
Strategic Partner: Collaborate with our Culinary and Sales teams to maximize revenue through savvy upselling and efficient labor management.
Who You Are (The Requirements)
The Professional: You have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in luxury banquets, event operations, or high-end F&B.
The Academic: A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Event Management is preferred—but your "on-the-floor" wisdom is what we value most.
The Communicator: You possess exceptional verbal and written skills. You can negotiate with a vendor, brief a kitchen team, and charm a VIP client all before lunch.
The Athlete: You’re ready for the "Napa Hustle." This role requires being on your feet, moving through our beautiful 22-acre property, and working a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends (because that’s when the magic happens).
