Finance Consultant – Your Contribution

You will provide your finance expertise supporting projects for city, county, state and special district government clients, as a supplemental contribution on larger multi-discipline team projects, ranging on average from 10 to 40 hours per project.

Some examples of the projects you might work on and contribute your expertise to:

• Finance specific studies as part of larger projects
• Developing capital improvement plans
• Department and agency wide budget analysis, budget review and budget studies
• Financial models and perform analysis using the financial models
• Cost and feasibility analysis, compensation studies and analysis
• General fee schedule reviews
  

Finance Consultant – Your Prior Experience and Skills

You are someone who:

• Has prior experience working in the public sector in a Finance Director or related finance role
• Is motivated by continuing to make a difference in the community
• Can work 10 to 40 hours per month (you choose your schedule – when you work and how much you work!)
  

You will conduct your work primarily remotely, and may occasionally travel to client sites (very infrequent and with advance notice).

Your compensation is hourly and based on the project and your billable hours.
