    Project Engineer – What You Will Do

    You will support our team of Project Managers (team of 4, and rapidly growing!), from bidding and preconstruction through project management support to ensure the timely execution and coordination of projects. You will:

    • Support and maintain data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, contractors/subcontractors, or other project-related entities.
    • Participate in and maintain document and project control systems and procedures.
    • Attend project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
    • Obtain, track, and document contractor and subcontractor contractual requirements (and construction plans and specs) on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment as directed by project manager.
    • Assist in project closeout procedures including involvement in recycle reports, warranties and related provisions as directed by project manager.

    You will support multiple projects concurrently. Most projects are less than two weeks, and no overnight travel.

    Project Engineer – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

    You are someone with:

    • Organization skills – you are a master at tracking many moving parts and keeping the team organized
    • An understanding of the construction life cycle from estimation/bid through project completion
    • Prior experience working with a specialty subcontractor or commercial construction
    • Excel skills – you will be utilizing MS Excel to track information and perform basic spreadsheets
    • Ambition – you want to grow and advance quickly and are excited by a company that will triple in the next few years
    • Familiarity with basic construction management principles, scheduling, estimating, document control, specifications, drawings, contracts, and cost (construction plans and specs)
    • Clean driving record

    Project Engineer – Strongly Desired, not Required

    • Prior experience working as a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management
    • Experience with MS Office Suite, Construct Connect or Bluebeam softwares
    • Familiar with FieldPro or Plexis, or related cost control systems

    You will work in the office to start, and then work in both the office and the field on job sites with project managers. Compensation is $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, plus incentive compensation.
