MORTGAGE LOAN UNDERWRITER

We currently have a MORTGAGE LOAN UNDERWRITER opportunity in an environment that focuses on providing exceptional customer service. This position will be responsible for the review of loan files to ensure compliance with all required guidelines and evaluation of the loan for credit risk.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Analyze and review all pertinent information within loan file for compliance with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines
• Application of all applicable policies and regulatory guidelines for the credit decision process
• Select required conditions on each loan which must be satisfied prior to funding
• Correspond with appropriate parties to obtain outstanding documentation to complete requirements as needed

SUCCESS IN MORTGAGE LOAN UNDERWRITER…

• High school diploma or equivalent required; College education preferred
• 3 years relevant mortgage loan underwriter experience is REQUIRED
• FHA DE Certification Required
• Comprehensive knowledge of underwriting guidelines
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and maintaining the company’s customer service standards
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
