We currently have a Mortgage Loan Originator opportunity in an environment that focuses on providing exceptional customer service. This position will be responsible for the generation of leads and origination of loans and to work with customers and referrals to provide an exceptional loan experience.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Involved in marketing, promotion and business development activities to build relationships with real estate agents, attorneys, financial advisors, or potential referral sources

Provide applicants with information regarding the loan process to include potential options

Counsel customers regarding any credit concerns or needs

Obtain complete loan applications and supporting documentation necessary for processing

Maintain communications with the client until closing is complete

Success in Mortgage Loan Originator…

High school diploma or equivalent required; College education preferred

Minimum of 2 years related experience required (mortgage, banking, consumer lending, etc)

Must maintain a current, active NMLS License

Must meet all State of Tennessee requirements for continuing education and training

Comprehensive knowledge of the state and federal guidelines

Ability to exercise independent judgment and analytical skills

Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and maintaining the company’s customer service standards

Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
