The Mortgage Accountant is responsible for daily operational accounting functions for the company.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Review, research, reconcile general ledger accounts

Obtain. evaluate and upload loan origination, purchase and sales transactions to the G/L

Coordinate with our loan servicing group to resolve remaining loan-level residual balances

Reconcile cash and warehouse loans balances with our primary lenders

Assist with journal entries and payment of escrow bills

Entry of all wire transactions

Processing/recording vendor invoices

Requirements:

A High school diploma or equivalent required

Accounting mortgage-banking experience desired

Proficiency with excel, including functions such as V-lookup and Pivot Tables

Excellent internal/external customer service skills

Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, positive environment

Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

Ability to handle detailed assignments
