We currently have a Pre-Funding Quality Control Analyst opportunity in an environment that focuses on assuring quality of GHMC loan documentation. The primary goal of the position is to support Guaranty Home Mortgage by conducting prior to closing audits to ensure compliance and credit quality in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations and Company, investor and agency guidelines.
Specific Duties of the Pre-Funding Quality Control Analyst will include, but not be limited to:
Review daily sample of residential mortgage loans to ensure credit quality and compliance with agency, investor, and regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Complete a quality control review checklist and audit report for each loan file reviewed.
Document findings in QC software and report findings to responsible parties to review/mitigate.
Assist in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring for compliance risks and areas of concern.
Analyze quality results to determine trends, risks, etc. and develop solutions for consideration in process enhancements.
Provide guidance on policies and advise on necessary actions to ensure company complies with local, state and federal legal requirements.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Potential to work remote for highly qualified candidate
Success in the Pre-Funding Quality Control Analyst role…
High school diploma or equivalent required; College education preferred
Minimum of 5 years industry experience in quality control, Underwriting or equivalent of Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans. DE preferred
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance as it relates to mortgage lending: Truth in Lending, TRID, RESPA, Regulation B, Regulation C, etc.
Ability to perform in-depth residential mortgage loan review
Must exercise independent judgment and have strong analytical skills to proactively problem solve
Exceptional attention to detail to produce high-quality work with multiple interruptions
Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, any other mortgage/banking software, etc.).
Professional demeanor and interaction with all customers (internal and external)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads to meet strict and challenging deadlines
