Guest Experience Ambassador – Job Description
Position Title: Guest Experience Ambassador
Overview
The Guest Experience Ambassador is a guest-facing role focused on creating a welcoming, high-energy experience throughout the Zeke’s property, including the marina and restaurant. This position supports daily Guest Experience programs by assisting guests, promoting department initiatives, and helping drive sales through friendly communication and confident upselling.
Ambassadors support the department’s core projects, including:
• Hook & Cook guest coordination
• Guest photo sales opportunities
• Supporting charter bookings and guest navigation
• Sales initiatives and guest interaction support
The Ambassador works under the direction of the Guest Experience Director and Guest Experience Assistant and is expected to represent Zeke’s Landing with a positive attitude, professionalism, and strong attention to guest service and revenue.
Core Responsibilities
Guest Interaction, Sales & Upselling
• Greet and assist guests throughout the property, including the marina and restaurant. • Confidently promote Guest Experience programs and encourage guest participation. • Upsell key department initiatives by explaining options clearly and enthusiastically.
• Help drive daily revenue through friendly service, product knowledge, and strong guest engagement.
Guest Service & Daily Support
• Maintain a visible presence during operating hours to assist guests with questions, navigation, and recommendations.
• Provide a consistent and positive guest experience while supporting Zeke’s Landing brand standards.
• Support daily programs and department priorities as assigned by leadership.
Hook & Cook Support
• Assist guests with Hook & Cook coordination and ensure they understand the process. • Help keep the experience organized, smooth, and guest-friendly.
Guest Photo Sales Opportunities
• Encourage guests to participate in photo opportunities and explain available options.
• Support daily execution of photo-related initiatives through guest interaction and sales support.
Team Support & Communication
• Work closely with the Director and Assistant to support department goals and daily execution. • Communicate guest feedback and recurring issues to leadership.
• Assist with coverage during high-volume periods as needed.
Training & Standards
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold Zeke’s Landing hospitality expectations. • Follow department procedures and service standards consistently.
• Participate in training and onboarding as assigned.
Compensation
Seasonal Position.
Hourly Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Tip-eligible position.
Bonus Opportunities: Charter sales bonus opportunities may be available.
