Our hotel is thriving and we are looking for a customer service specialist who is both passionate and detail-oriented to be our next guest services manager. You will be in charge of overseeing all front office staff and operations to ensure that our guests have a wonderful experience. Hiring and training staff, managing guest issues or complaints, and increasing the hotel's profitability with improved occupancy rates will be part of your daily responsibilities. Our ideal candidate has a track record of demonstrated leadership and at least two years of team management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Promote hotel services and amenities through various up-selling techniques to increase room occupancy and profitability • Establish and develop the guest service department's financial and operational plans, and make sure they are in line with the hotel's long-term and short-term objectives • Resolve any visitor concerns, issues, or accidents in a courteous, timely, and attentive manner • Hire, train, and encourage the teamwork of front-office staff while simultaneously setting strong customer service standards and levels of performance • Oversee the entire front office operations to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction Qualifications: • Hospitality experience of at least 3 years is required for this role • Possess excellent management skills, communication skills, and multitasking skills • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED • 2+ years managing a team in a hospitality role or equivalent customer service role Compensation: $40,000 -$45,000 Annually
