Job Description
The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms in accordance with company and departmental standards while ensuring the security and integrity of guest accommodations and their contents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of assigned guest rooms according to established company and departmental standards, including:
- Changing and properly securing bed linens
- Collecting soiled bath linens and replenishing with fresh, sanitized linens
- Dusting and sanitizing all hard surfaces
- Vacuuming and maintaining carpeted areas
- Thoroughly cleaning bathroom fixtures including sinks, countertops, bathtubs, showers, and toilets
- Restocking room amenities including tissues, toiletries, and other guest supplies
• Prepare and stock supply carts with all necessary cleaning materials and supplies prior to room service
• Maintain accurate room status documentation and complete all required departmental paperwork in a timely manner
• Communicate maintenance and repair requirements to the housekeeping department promptly
• Address guest requests with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support departmental operations
