    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the entrance, providing a warm and professional first impression that sets the tone for their stay.
    • Open doors, assist with luggage, and escort guests to the front desk or their accommodations as needed, ensuring a smooth and comfortable arrival experience.
    • Execute efficient and accurate guest check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying reservations, processing payments, and issuing room keys.
    • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset.
    • Communicate local area knowledge including dining, attractions, and transportation options to enhance the guest experience.
    • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs and ensure room readiness.
    • Monitor the lobby and entrance areas, maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at all times.
    • Accurately document guest interactions, special requests, and incidents in the property management system to support team communication and service continuity.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a guest-facing role.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuinely welcoming demeanor.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods throughout a shift.
    • Ability to lift and transport luggage and guest belongings safely (up to 50 lbs).
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Professional appearance and adherence to company grooming and uniform standards.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or full-service hospitality environment.
    • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Fosse, or similar platforms.
    • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
    • Experience in a dual-function or cross-trained hospitality role.

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency with property management and reservation systems.
    • Basic computer skills including data entry and use of standard office software.
    • Ability to operate standard front desk equipment including printers, key card systems, and multi-line phones.
    • Familiarity with point-of-sale or payment processing systems.
