Job Description
Job Title: Guest Service Specialist
Reports To: Manager
Company: Healing Touch Spa
Location: Rochester, MN
Summary: Schedules appointments for clients, and performs the following duties: Front desk, general office, and reception work, by phone, on the computer and in person, as well as being a 2nd hand to the manager shall she need anything.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Process client health forms, send out receipts, stretches and appt reminders
Balancing daily receipts, and handling cc’s, cash, and checks.
Check in new merchandise. Creating merchandise displays.
Provide relevant and accurate information to clients about the business and the downtown area
Accurately enter data into the software program
Maintain store displays.
Maintain a calm, cheerful, and positive attitude.
Tidy and straighten reception area and keep reading material current
Data entry, general office work, filing and creative projects.
Update Managers/Owner with messages.
Stocking inventory and marketing materials
Restock brochures. Attend regular meetings and workshops conducted by Healing Touch.
Greet and welcome clients.
Cleaning duties
Scheduling, and processing all client appointments on the computer.
Check clients in and out out on the software program
Accurately count cash
Accurately close out the drawer
Notify manager when items need reordering/Help with ordering if needed.
Keep reception and retail area clean and neat.
Perform other duties as requested by management and owner including but not limited to creating spreadsheets and lists as well as obtaining information and researching.

Education/Experience:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalency, and one month or more related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Be able to type a minimum of 40wpm
Language Ability:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language. (using proper grammar and punctuation) Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, and use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Misc Skills: Highly organized and focused. Self motivated. Efficient. Effective time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed, written, or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Word processing, spreadsheets, accounts receivable, order processing, inventory, and simple graphics programming for creating flyers.

The dress code is business casual, No Jeans, Black white gray is what most people wear, But can be other colors as long as it's appropriate.. Clean, well-groomed nails and hair, as well as a neat appearance are a must! No smell of smoke, body lotions or perfumes are allowed on the person or clothing.
