ECHO's Guest Services Representatives are the welcoming face of ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain! Our Guest Services Representatives are responsible for all the functions of our lobby, from setting up and stocking our cafe and gift shop, to answering guest questions (in person and on the phone), and selling entry tickets, movie tickets, and ECHO memberships.

This is an extremely people-facing role in an environment which can be busy and noisy. Our Guest Services Reps spend the majority of their shift standing or moving around the lobby and greater museum, including to the top floor to let guests into our movie theater.

Other responsibilities in this role include:

Brewing coffee, setting out cafe furniture (inside and outside, seasonally), handling opening and closing cash drawer duties, answering the phone, sorting and delivering mail and packages, light cleaning, assisting with setup for birthday parties and events, and very occasionally working into the early evening to help with an event.

Prior customer service experience (at least 6 months) is required, as is experience with a point of sale system, and succes working as part of a team. This role is 100% on site with no remote or hybrid option. This role is approximately 24 hours per week, 3 shifts of 9:15am - 5:15pm.
