    Job Family:InternTravel Required:NoneClearance Required:NoneWhat You Will Do:Our 2023 National Security Financial Management/Audit Remediation/Accounting Intern Consultants helps our federal clients within National Security to optimize all elements of their finance management structure. Our new consultants will also build their professional and personal consulting skillsets while gaining a strong understanding of consulting within a financial capability. Key responsibilities include: Accounting and Budget managementAudit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation (e.g., narratives and flow charts), and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findingsPerforming recurring testing, such as testing internal controls, designing and executing Manager’s Internal Controls ProgramsPerforming and reviewing statement analysis, financial information, reporting results, and financial statement audit report analysisWhat You Will Need:The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher level of federal/government security clearance.US Citizenship is required for security clearance Must be currently enrolled Bachelor’s or Master's degree program from an accredited United States college or university and not graduating prior to August 2023Strong organizational and communication skillsInterest in growing a career in consulting, preferably government/federal/DoD consultingWhat Would Be Nice To Have:The following skills/knowledge/experience are desired for this role:United States college or university majors focusing in accounting, finance, change management, or business information systemsACTIVE and CURRENT security clearanceWhat We Offer:Guidehouse offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.About GuidehouseGuidehouse is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
