Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team at Guidepoint Systems. As the Product Owner, you will play a critical role in driving the development and success of our cloud-based software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the product backlog, gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, stakeholders, and customers. Define and prioritize product features, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and customer needs. Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the most up-to-date requirements and priorities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, graphic / UI designers, and QA analysts to deliver high-quality software deployments on schedule. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product decisions and improvements. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, address concerns, and manage expectations. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders. Use effective negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and facilitate consensus among different stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the telematics domain. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience working as a Product Owner or similar role in a cloud-based software development environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Solid technical background and understanding of cloud-based software development processes. Familiarity with telematics, IoT, or related technologies is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
