The outdoor recreation industry includes fishing, wildlife, boating, water sports, snow sports, hunting, ATV, hiking, and biking. We are starting with a focus in the fishing vertical in the outdoor recreation industry. We have just closed our Seed Funding (September 2021). We are delivering a completely new customer experience for Anglers everywhere. We help customers create one-of-a-kind fishing experiences by allowing anglers to have immediate booking access to their own personal guide. The app and website finds guides for every angler and every occasion: saltwater, freshwater, boating, drifting down a river or wading.
Additionally, the app allows users to see lakes, rivers, oceans, and bodies of water. All recent fishing and weather reports to find the best fishing spots specifically matched to their preferences. Users can then start browsing through our network of certified fishing guides and book a customized fishing excursion with their guide.

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - JOB OVERVIEW
Guidesly is seeking highly driven, consultative Inside Sales professionals who not only are passionate about fishing but understand consultative selling as the art of listening to and solving customers’ biggest challenges. The role is to enthusiastically introduce guides and charter captains to the Guidesly solutions by calling into assigned leads, attentively learn their needs and challenges, intelligently explain which Guidesly solutions address those needs then proceed to enroll those who are an excellent fit. Once a guide is a part of Guidesly you will work with them to ensure they are successful and a Guidesly advocate.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
High daily call volume speaking with prospective customers
Present consultative selling approach by asking insightful questions, conducting effective discovery to maximize opportunity, handling objections, communicating the Guidesly value proposition and understanding the client's needs and how the Guidesly platform can solve those challenges.
Continued growth in your knowledge and understanding of the fishing, guiding and charter industries
Drive sales and adoption of the Guidesly platform solutions to new guides to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
Work in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and possess superior organization and time management skills
Daily use of CRM to manage your pipeline, enhance contact data and reporting after each outreach attempt and closed sale
Contact current and prospective clients through phone calls and emails to explain products, including new developments, and create sales opportunities
Respond to clients who contact Guidesly, answering inquiries and providing information professionally and accurately
Build new relationships and strengthen existing relationships to create lifelong business partners that will utilize Guidesly solutions for years to come
Maintain working knowledge of all solutions we provide, being able to explain any aspect at a moment’s notice, and develop an understanding of new products quickly
Recommend specific solutions to clients based on their specific needs and desires, putting the satisfaction of our customers above all else
Utilize upselling techniques to increase the size of orders or encourage clients to try out newly developed Guidesly solutions
Monitor developments in the market or new technology in our competitive marketplace to be prepared for market shifts and maintain an understanding of Guidesly competitive comparisons
Complete administrative duties after each sale, carefully documenting solutions sold and any required next steps

Remote Workforce:
Guidesly is a 100% remote workforce. Our startup culture gets it done, live and breathe the culture of outdoor recreation. In addition, we are planning summits to unique locations where we can experience and interact with our customers. Saltwater fishing in the Florida Keys, fly fishing and wildlife in Big Sky Montana, water sports at Lake Tahoe, or meetings in our hometown of Boston. We are working hard to create the best remote culture we can.
