  • Responsibilities

    The purpose of this position is to perform the maintenance, repair, and operations duties as required per the scope of the contract with the FEM customer.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Pull MSR orders (verifying part#, corp.#, and quantity pulled)

    2. Assist customer’s associates looking for parts

    3. Be able to utilize the Oracle data base system

    4. Deliver line down parts when needed

    5. Pick and ship all pulled MSR’s

    6. Receive incoming packages (verifying part#, incoming quantity and on-hand)

    7. Put away incoming parts (verifying part #, incoming quantity and on-hand quantity)

    8. Rotate stock insuring FIFO

    9. Locate new incoming parts

    10. Do daily deliveries

    11. Do daily combined audit counts

    12. Do daily cycle count audits

    13. Process returns

    14. Keep all storage locations straight and organized

    15. Do daily COP

    16. Ship out-going parts

    17. Assist in investigating discrepancies on audits and cycle counts

    18. Must be able to operate various Powered Industrial Vehicles (i.e. sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, walkie pallet jack, personnel carrier, etc)

    19. Perform other duties as directed

     

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Follow OSHA guidelines and MPW safety standards

    2. Ability to follow directions as provided by supervisor.

    3. Reports any and all issues to the supervisor immediately

    Required Skills

    1. Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.

    2. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.

    3. Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.

    4. Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.

    5. Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.

    6. Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.

     

    Required Experience

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.

    2. Some High School education acceptable.

    3. Able to work safely and efficiently.

    4. Forklift, Receiving, and Computer knowledge a plus but not required.

    5. Understanding of mechanical concepts and applications.

    6. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    7. Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.

    8. Valid Drivers License and clean driving record required (3 years)
