    We are seeking a motivated and talented Landscape Architect to join our elite group of professionals in YORK, PA.  As a LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT II, you will be responsible for landscape architecture, land planning, site design, and parks and recreation projects in a multi-office engineering firm. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

     

    • Perform site investigation, due diligence, zoning and feasibility analysis.
    • Prepare master plans and concept sketches.
    • Facilitate meetings with the public and stakeholders.
    • Public presentations and community engagement activities related to project milestones.
    • Preparation of construction documents inclusive of, but not limited to, site layout, grading, landscape design and detailing, hardscapes, and project specifications.
    • Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical designs received from other project consultants.
    • Preparation of plans, applications and reports related to local, county and state permits.
    • Preparation of written correspondence with outside agencies, clients, etc.
    • Preparation of proposals.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Bachelors or Master degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program.
    • Registered Landscape Architect with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, preferred
    • At least five (5) years of experience working in:
      • land planning
      • parks and recreation
      • land development, specifically landscape and site design projects
    • Design and Construction background experience including:
      • Municipal review and approval process
      • Preparation of public bidding documents and construction specifications
      • Familiarity with DCNR funded project delivery requirements
    • Experience in reviewing Municipal Ordinances and preparing development review applications
    • Excellent proficiency with:
      • AutoCAD Civil3D
      • Microsoft Office Suite
      • Adobe Suite
      • Sketch Up
      • Presentation graphics
    • Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices as necessary
    • Has the legal right to work in the U.S.

  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Must be licensed or registered in the state employed.
    • Completion of post-secondary education and be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
    • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as required.
    • Must be able to work weekend and overtime as required.
    • Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment exam, if required.
    • Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish this position.
