GENERAL PURPOSE:
To develop and create a strategy to decrease and analyze the Clinical / Risk Management Departments of the Company. In addition to supporting the Company''s mission, vision, core values, and provide excellent customer service to associates, residents, visitors and guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead, teach and train on all aspects of Center Risk Management: To include Risk Management trainings, manual updates as well as roll-out of any changes
- To be on the front end of Complaint Survey Management
- Manage the IDR process
- Oversee Medical Record Requests and Audits
- Assess training and development needs of the staff as it relates to Risk Management
- Review Adverse Incidents / Abuse Reporting
- teach and train
- Audit via PCC for Risk Management Module
- Track / trend reportable events and needle stick incidents
- Maintain a working knowledge and ensure compliance with all governmental regulations.
- Develops positive relationship on behalf of the Company with government regulators, health care community and the community at large.
- Adhere to all Center policies and procedures
- Development of clinical training modules for licensed staff
- Integrates regular updates through web based and personal trainings
- Assist in development of training and education materials for Company strategic initiatives
- Requires travel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills

Required Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a current and valid Registered Nurse License.
- Must be capable of maintaining regularly scheduled attendance.
- Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have five (5) years of administrative or monitoring experience.
- Must be able to relate positively with all disciplines in the Company to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to the software solutions that will enhance work flow and provide optimal results.
- Must be able to collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure integration and standardization of all clinical practices and operations.
- Must have essential and advanced computer skills.
