OPS CUSTODIAN/GROUNDSKEEPER

WAKULLA ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER AND WAKULLA CENTER

HIRING SALARY:          $10.00 per hour

HOURS:                         8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

MAJOR FUNCTION:  PART-TIME CUSTODIAN/GROUNDSKEEPER - WAKULLA ENVIRONMENTAL INSTITUTE AND WAKULLA CENTER in Crawfordville, Fl.  Custodian Experience using various cleaning methods, standard custodial tools, equipment and chemicals. Grounds or Landscaping experience in lawn edging, trimming, mowing, mulching, weed eating, planting shrubs & flowers, use of herbicides and pesticides.

MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or its equivalent and one year experience in either Grounds keeping or Custodial services.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:  This position requires a criminal background check and possession of a valid driver’s license. Required job duties will involve exposure to summer time extreme heat & humidity to winter time extreme cold weather and requires essential physical abilities such as; lifting, carrying and pushing up to 75 lbs., walking, standing, bending, stooping; ability to use a computer, vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, weed eaters and edger’s.

Required Skills Required Experience

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT:
