POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Thrift Shoppe & Volunteer Manager, the Thrift Shoppe Cashier is responsible for providing customer service to thrift shoppe customers, providing accurate cashier services, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/GED required

Minimum of 2 years cashier experience required

Experience in a thrift or consignment shop preferred

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide cashier service to customers

Provide excellent interaction and customer service to customers, co-workers, and volunteers.

Assist in other areas of thrift shoppe when necessary.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Possess skill and experience using an electronic cash register

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Ability to analyze check-out discrepancies and resolve quickly and accurately
