    JOB TITLE: Finance Intern

    DEPARTMENT: Revenue Cycle & Finance

    REPORTS TO: Director of Contracting Services

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Director of Contracting Services, the Finance Intern is responsible for assisting Leadership in day-to-day administrative functions. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    Requires a high school diploma or GED. Associate degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.

    Must be currently enrolled in an academic program requiring completion of an Internship Program.

    Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive.

    Computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets and databases.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to remain HIPAA compliant and maintain confidentiality.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide administrative support to Revenue Cycle and Finance teams.

    Performs a variety of routine clerical duties including, but not limited to: data entry, scanning, mailing, and filing.

    Aid with preparation and auditing of contract files.

    Perform basic internet searches to ensure contract files remain up-to-date.

    Ability to interact with individuals at all levels on behalf of Leadership while remaining diplomatic.

    Must maintain accurate records and compile information to assist in report preparation.

    Work on special projects and tasks as assigned.
