POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Social Services, the Social Work Manager helps in providing direction to the social workers and chaplains, assists with the daily operations of social services, and creates, develops, implements, and monitors program development for social services. Responsibilities also include providing leadership and assistance in having a patient centered culture resulting in outstanding experiences for patients and customers. Additional responsibilities include, social work and chaplain audits, QAPI and regulatory compliance, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, community networking, and the coordination of the student intern program, and other activities as appropriate. Offer guidance and assistance with complex or difficult cases, including coordination of services. Review and improve recommendations and treatment plans, including identifying psychological tests or other unmet needs.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's in Social Work is required

LCSW highly preferred

Must possess a minimum of three years of clinical Social Work experience in a healthcare organization, facility, hospital or community health program

Three or more years in hospice Social Work required

Two or more years in a clinical supervisory role
