Serving Pasco County for 25 years, Gulfside Hospice & Pasco Palliative Care is an energized, growing, non-profit corporation seeking to expand its hospice physician team. We serve the greater Tampa, FL, metropolitan area in Pasco County, home to one of the fastest growing population areas in the US. Gulfside Hospice currently employs six hospice team physicians. Our Medical Director seeks an additional hospice physician who would direct an IDG, round at one of our IPU’s, and make field visits to homes and facilities. One Nurse Practitioner would be chosen to work directly with this new physician; the two would serve as a team for the area of Pasco County to which they are assigned. The ideal candidate for our position will be certified in hospice and palliative medicine, can perform well as a member of our team of doctors and NP’s, has a strong work ethic to assure that our staff and patients are treated respectfully and compassionately, and will strive with us to achieve the level of excellence we expect.
Our new team physician must have a license to practice medicine in Florida and must obtain a valid Florida driver’s license with required auto liability insurance. Night call is once weekly and once every fourth or fifth weekend.
