Our firm is actively seeking a highly skilled HVAC-Plumbing Preconstruction Manager to join our team in Orange County, CA. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned professional with a robust background in HVAC and plumbing systems. The successful candidate will possess the expertise to conceptualize, design, and present comprehensive mechanical strategies for upcoming projects to general contractors and building owners, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preconstruction phase of HVAC and plumbing systems for various projects, ensuring designs meet client needs and industry standards.
Conceptualize innovative mechanical solutions and strategies, presenting them effectively to general contractors, architects, and building owners.
Collaborate closely with the engineering and sales teams to develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
Utilize advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to guide the design and planning process, ensuring seamless integration of HVAC and plumbing systems.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices, applying them proficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members, acting as the primary technical liaison for all HVAC and plumbing preconstruction inquiries and discussions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design, engineering, estimating, and sales.
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and present complex mechanical designs and strategies.
Strong proficiency in industry-specific software and tools for design and estimation.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Local candidate with a thorough understanding of Orange County's building codes and regulations.
