    Title: Senior HVAC/Sheet Metal Estimator

    Location: San Francisco, California

    Overview:

    We are looking for a Senior HVAC/Sheet Metal Estimator with a strong background in mechanical work procurement and experience in sheet metal projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the commercial construction industry and be proficient in utilizing bid templates, mainly for projects with existing clients. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits, with bonus potential.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct detailed cost estimates for HVAC and sheet metal projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

    Collaborate closely with project management teams, focusing on commercial-scale projects including high rises, data centers, and hospitals.

    Utilize Quotesoft for precise project estimations and manage preconstruction processes including budgeting, conceptual estimating, and value engineering.

    Engage in business development activities and maintain client relationships to facilitate the acquisition of new work.

    Contribute to the company’s strategy for overcoming challenges such as acquiring quality field personnel and managing significant project backlogs.

    Requirements:

    A minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC or related field.

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.

    Proficiency in estimating software, particularly Bluebeam or Quotesoft.

    Strong background in commercial sector project management.

    Local to San Francisco with a stable work history and non-union office personnel preferred.

    Preferred Skills:

    Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, leveraging past project experiences.

    Excellent communication skills, with a polished demeanor and a positive attitude.

    Experience in a senior role, capable of reporting to high-level executives.

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.

    Innovative problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges.
