    Job Title: Commercial Refrigeration Technician

    Overview: Seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to carry out routine maintenance, diagnosis, and repair activities on various refrigeration systems and temperature-controlled units primarily used in the food retail industry. This role demands technical proficiency in handling complex refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on a wide range of refrigeration systems and self-contained temperature units.

    Efficiently diagnose and fix issues with refrigeration racks or single-unit systems, including leak repairs, component replacements, and system installations under guidance.

    Fabricate and install necessary supports and piping, ensuring all work complies with industry standards.

    Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks accurately.

    Manage and document service tickets and project details professionally, ensuring all communications are clear and timely.

    Maintain a well-organized and stocked service vehicle, adhering to all maintenance schedules and safety protocols.

    Foster strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and effectively communicating technical information.

    Requirements:

    High School Diploma/GED is required.

    A minimum of 5 years of field experience or 3 years with a Technical School Certification in HVAC-R.

    Demonstrable skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

    Knowledge of electrical schematics and understanding of basic electrical principles.

    Proficiency in handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials safely.

    Preferred:

    HVAC-R Technical School Degree.

    Experience with specific refrigeration brands and models is advantageous.
