    Job Title: Building Automation Systems Technician

    Overview: This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic field of building automation and energy management. The role focuses on engineering, installing, and maintaining systems designed to enhance building performance and energy efficiency. Technicians will work across a variety of settings, including research labs, corporate campuses, and data centers, contributing to sustainable and innovative solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and operate building automation systems and their associated software and equipment.

    Lead the start-up and commissioning of new systems.

    Update and maintain documentation and controls diagrams to accurately reflect site conditions.

    Interface with customers and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers.

    Conduct functional tests and support owner training during project closeout.

    Requirements:

    Associate degree or certificate in Applied Technologies, electronics, or a related field.

    Familiarity with electrical circuits, basic programming, and mechanical systems.

    Experience in troubleshooting complex issues.

    Ability to work on feet, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb ladders regularly.

    Preferred:
