    Location: Riverside, California

    Overview:

    We seek a dedicated Technical Sales/HVAC Estimator to join our team in Riverside, California. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the HVAC industry, combining technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver precise and competitive project estimates. As a Technical Sales/HVAC Estimator, you will analyze project specifications, determine cost estimates, and collaborate closely with both sales and engineering teams to ensure project success.     Responsibilities

    Project Analysis and Estimation: Conduct detailed analysis of project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems in commercial settings. This includes materials, labor, and other associated costs.

    Proposal Development: Prepare and submit comprehensive proposals and bids, ensuring they meet client requirements and timelines. Collaborate with the sales team to refine proposals and enhance the chances of project acquisition.

    Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support and advice to the sales team, aiding in the clarification of project specifications and requirements. Assist in the development of project plans and schedules.

    Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Liaise with vendors and contractors to gather price quotes and negotiate costs. Ensure that all components of the estimate reflect current market prices and availability.

    Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-project reviews to identify areas for cost improvement and efficiency gains. Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC estimation.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant trade school certifications will also be considered.

    A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC estimation or a related role, with a proven track record in commercial projects.

    Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Must be local to Riverside, California, with a stable work history and a commitment to long-term professional growth.

    Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Preferred Skills

    Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems and technologies.

    Experience in sales engineering within the HVAC industry, with a strong focus on customer service and relationship building.

    Familiarity with building codes and regulations applicable to the HVAC industry in California.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
