Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Project Manager to become part of our vibrant team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is ideally suited for someone with a robust background in commercial plumbing and HVAC, holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management. With at least 5 years of direct experience in design, estimating, and managing large-scale commercial projects, the chosen candidate will be instrumental in steering projects to successful completion. Mastery of industry-standard tools like BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution.
Leverage technical knowledge to assist in the design of efficient plumbing and HVAC systems.
Prepare detailed project estimates, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
Maintain and manage project documentation utilizing BlueBeam and Procore.
Track and manage project budgets, schedule updates, and cost-saving strategies.
Ensure on-time project delivery by coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Uphold quality assurance standards, surpassing industry norms and client expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the commercial plumbing and HVAC sectors, focusing on design, estimating, and project management.
Proficient in BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore for project management.
Demonstrated capability in leading sizable commercial projects to fruition.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
A local to Salt Lake City, UT, with a demonstrated stable work history.
Preferred:
Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
Experience with green building practices and sustainability in construction.
