CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work with estimators, PMs, and other members of the team to lead regular project review meetings, update ECACs. Additionally, follow up on action items from those meetings.
• Coordinate audit efforts with both internal and external auditors to ensure the highest legal and ethical standards are met. 
• Drive project performance by monitoring costs, receipts, change orders, payroll, etc. and update Sr. Billing Specialists.
• Prepare and support financial analysis as needed, including AP/AR and other records. 
• Complete Risk Assessment Values for large projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ Years’ experience in project accounting working for a commercial construction company
• Bachelor’s in Accounting
• Understanding of lien releases and laws

PREFERRED:

• CPA (preferred)
• Prior experience in construction billing (preferred) 
• Stable work history
