COMMERCIAL HVAC/PIPING & SHEET METAL DETAILER WITH PRIOR FIELD EXPERIENCE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create detailed HVAC/sheet metal drawings in CAD, TSI/FABCAD, CADMECH, Revit, and Navisworks
• Read CD's, cut sheets, and drawings and assist Jobsite PM's and Superintendents with current projects to explain design intent to field
• Create specification documents, including service codes and spec numbers 
• Create understandable and constructible installation drawings from contract documents and specifications for field installers to build from
• Produce sheet metal specification documents 
• Work alongside team members from other building/construction trades
• Perform field visits to make sketches, as-built drawings as needed.
• Verify that all drawings and specs documents are compliant with local, state, and federal safety standards.
• Support Design and Construction Services utilizing multiple BIM applications for coordination, document control, and file management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Five or more years working hands-on in commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installation
• Two or more years working as an HVAC/Sheet Metal Detailer
• AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk Fabrication (formerly TSI-CADMECH, FABCAD) software experience
• Title 24 & OSHPD knowledge
• Local and stable work history
