    JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and hard working Member Services staff to join our team. Individuals must possess a strong work ethic and have exceptional customer service skills. Member Services staff are the lead customer service contact on all of GymIt’s club services, policies, and programs for members and potential members. Team members are responsible for contributing to the cleanliness of the facility, increasing club membership & product sales, and executing any additional responsibilities needed to ensure efficient club operation.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Tour potential members in a secondary sales role. • Be a resource for members and guests on all club services and programs. • Implement club promotions and marketing initiatives as needed. • Book service appointments and complimentary training sessions. • Contribute to all areas of club cleanliness (internal and external). • Operate the front desk in a professional manner including: answering phones, greeting all members by name, member check-ins, POS register, billing changes, and addressing member inquires. • Assist members with using fitness equipment and becoming better acclimated to the facility layout. • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts. • Enforce all club rules and policies. • Create raving fans out of our members through outstanding customer service that fosters club satisfaction and referrals.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Previous experience in a customer service, retail, sales, or hospitality environment. Health club experience preferred but not required. • A strong track record of creating exceptional customer experiences. • Must be highly motivated, energetic, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. • Well organized, strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi task. • Ability to work in both individual and team oriented environments. Must be a team player and be willing to cover/trade shifts when necessary. • A general understanding of health club operations and a strong passion for fitness. • A reliable source of transportation (public or private). • Flexible availability: Evenings and Weekends are required. Holidays as needed.

    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent. • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
