    WE'RE LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME PEDIATRIC PHYSICIAN

    From our extensive facilities in Whittier and Downey, California, PIH Health serves more than two million residents in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

     

    PIH Health Pediatric Care Department is seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician to join our Pediatric Team in the Whittier/La Mirada location and South Gate location.  Responsibilities include general pediatrics outpatient clinic and consult for newborn hospital program; coverage at PIH Health Hospital – Whittier.  

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrated expertise in pediatric diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management from birth to 18 years of age. Knowledgeable regarding a pediatrician scope of practice
    • Experience performing and interpreting diagnostic measures
    • Ability to consult for newborn hospital program, and follow the rotation schedule
    • Fellow or certification from American Academy of Pediatrics

    Required Experience

    • Current, unrestricted California medical license
    • MD or DO
    • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved residency program in Pediatrics
    • Board Certified in Pediatrics
    • PRIOR EXPERIENCE AS A PRACTICING CLINICIAN, WITH EXPERIENCE IN NEWBORN NURSERY ROUNDING PREFERRED
    • BILINGUAL SKILLS IN SPANISH/CHINESE PREFERRED
