    We are seeking an energetic Controller for our North America Financial Institutions business unit.  The SET business unit has greater than 1,100 employees and generates greater than $350 million in annual revenues. This position will work closely with Operations, Sales, corporate, as well as members of the North America regional accounting and reporting team.    An ideal candidate must be ambitious, driven, with a strong focus on process improvement, and have perseverance while maintaining a positive attitude. 

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO):

    • Prepare the local dashboards and OPS call decks
    • Revenue, OPEX, and Gross Margin forecasting, budget vs actual analysis, and improvement to the existing process
    • Modeling to support strategic planning
    • Work closely with sales to ensure accurate revenue forecast that is in line with manufacturing capacity
    • Support efforts to document existing and future processes with goal of preparing for an upgrade of current ERP system or implementation of new system
    • Act as inventory SME; support implementing inventory controls, support clean-up of Navision to allow for proper FIFO inventory management, and work closely with the service line controller to set up cycle counting for SET service centers
    • Direct supervision of Service Center controller
    • Responsible for the rolling forecast and annual budget
    • Report financial data to stakeholders (local managers and corporate) in a timely manner which meets established deadlines and quality standards.
    • Support pricing efforts and contract reviews and negotiations to ensure finance alignment
    • ad hoc financial analysis,

    Required Skills

    • Perseverance, with a willingness to embrace change, energetic.
    • Experience working with Navision, Great Plains, TM1 is preferred
    • Experience with monthly close process required
    • People-oriented, effective communication and teamwork; listening.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Very hands-on, precise, detailed.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the finance team and to partner with key business stakeholder
    • Entrepreneurship mindset, constantly imagining new ways to solve problems and create value.
    • Ability to manage a team
    • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
    • MBA/CPA, preferred
    • Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS

     

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENT, WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Minor travel is required to the various SET site locations
    • Working hours. The employee will be required to work evenings and weekends during certain peak times such as month-end, quarter-end and year-end
    • Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
