SUMMARY:

IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a position for a Computer Programmer position for recent 1 year Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) Task Order (TO) win.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide software development support in support of the development of an experimental targeting platform for the Aberdeen Test Center.
• Perform market research and determine what commercially available of the shelf products may be used or integrated into a solution.
• Work products include, but are not limited to: software modules, source code, software licenses, documentation, briefing materials, working group notes, documented analysis methodologies, technical drawings.

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION: none

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of a Graduate degree in a Computer Science or Software Engineering or Computer Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution or Bachelor’s degree and four years software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience must include three of the following: CAN Bus, Ballistic Data, Image Data Acquisition and Processing or Embedded Computer Systems Design
• Experience with VHDL (VHSIC-HDL, Very High Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language)

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

• IAT Level II

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Must have knowledge of EO DSP and Coding in C
• Development of process flow diagrams
• Excellent communications skills
• Must have working knowledge of Agile development and DevOPS
• Must be organized and work without supervision

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.

TRAVEL:

• Some periodic travel may be required

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Minimum of a SECRET clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
