    JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CLINIC DIRECTOR

    The Clinical Director will be responsible for oversight of Clinician and Front Office Operations, clinical team coordination and partnership with Account Manager marketing to referral sources. 

    Reporting to the Regional Vice President (RVP), this position's primary responsibility is ensuring clinical quality effectiveness by providing leadership for the clinic’s therapy operational functions while promoting the development of referral source relationships with clinic staff to effectively grow and meet key performance indicator expectations. Working with the RVP, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of clinical quality strategies, policies and practices.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Improve the clinical delivery systems, processes and policies in support of organization’s mission -- specifically, support therapeutic process and organizational planning.
    • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of referral source relationship development with staff and clinical service operations, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication.
    • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward clinical excellence.
    • Oversight of clinical key performance indicators
    • Regular meetings with RVP and Clinical Corporate Trainer around clinical effectiveness and progression towards clinical key performance indicator expectations and quality assurance of therapeutic interventions and services.
    • Supervise and train clinical staff while coordinating with Account Manager for promotion of delivery of excellent clinical services and referral source relationship development.

    RESPONSIBILITIES BY FUNCTION LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT

    • Oversee weekly, monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of clinic’s performance against clinical key performance indicators and functional outcomes.
    • Coordinate with Account Manager to capitalize on opportunities and address referral source concerns. 
    • Lead clinical staff to meet identified quality care and best practices.
    • Referral source education and development during client case management.

    ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS

    • Lead and manage clinical staff functions and delivery of quality care.
    • Ensure appropriate clinical skill set and coordinate training with Corporate Clinical Training
    • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of relationship development between internal staff and to external parties through coordination and communication.
    • Drive initiatives in the team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence and growth.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve directed outcomes
    • Demonstrated business growth through clinical and leadership/management experience
    • Training and mentorship of staff for improved associate morale
    • Ability to interpret and analyze data through creation of reports and graphs to identify and track trends
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal, written and presentation
    • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
    • History of successful initiative and business growth through promotion to internal and outside entities

    • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

    • Good verbal and interpersonal relations skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment.

    • Must be physically agile and strong enough to lift large serving trays.
