As a member of the Supply chain and planning Team the Shipping/Logistics Supervisor will organize the shipping of customer orders, enter the data in the system, create required documents and generate the reporting and accounting files.  Shipping/Logistics Supervisor will also oversee the shipping clerks and all inbound and outbound shipments for Exton.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate with Planning Analyst/Vault personnel on the status of jobs to be shipped
• Organizes and arranges shipment of all completed orders in accordance with the shipping schedule/customer requirements
• Gathers and organizes all paperwork (job files, completion slips, etc.) and creates "Shipping Information Sheet" prior to each shipment
• Communicate with Customer Service department, secured and non secured carrier, and security personnel, as required, to assure shipping process is timely, accurate, complete and  economical
• Provide shipping documentation and reporting as required, domestically/maintain records on all items shipped
• Computes and posts all shipping charges to the system.
• Reconciles all shipping invoices
• Coordinate inbound shipments daily with the warehouse and shipping teams
• Handle all outbound shipments daily
• Oversee the shipping team on a day to day basis
• Establish working relationships with all Exton freight forwarders and armored carriers
• Be well versed in international shipments

Required Skills

• Previous Operations or Supply Chain experience

Required Experience

• High School diploma or one to three years of related experience
