SCOPE OF WORK

Field Operations Technician I is responsible for the routine installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of communications and associated electronic equipment, and writing specifications and operational procedures. Responsibilities include: monitoring equipment performance according to published equipment standards; diagnosing and correcting equipment problems; gathering, updating, recording and maintaining data or statistics; and responding to or reporting trouble outages or failures to appropriate personnel. May also perform duties as facility and landscape maintenance, (i.e.,  assembling, painting, soldering), constructing and/or installing equipment. Responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of power plant equipment and  responding to and resolving site outages and trouble tickets on a 24/7 basis).  Responsible for assisting in the shipping and receiving new and repaired parts and equipment, including administrative tasks, (i.e., asset management and tracking in  ATLAS). 1-5 years related work experience.

OTHER SKILLS

Candidate will be provided with a Sprint vehicle; which they will keep overnight and  will be provided with a company gas card. Candidate is also expected to stay overnight when necessary (expenses paid).

  2 to 5 years¿  hands experience or recent technical school graduate

• Able to translate customer/contractual requirements into engineering specifications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; must be able to multi-task and prioritize work, even when faced with conflicting demands
• Effective oral presentation and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable leading whiteboard sessions to draw out technology solutions
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills; must be able to establish lasting relationships with customers
• Familiar with the following operating environments VMware vSphere, VMware Workstations, Linux, Kubernetes, Windows Workstation, Windows Server, iOS and Android.
• Frequent travel as needed to support contracts, project teams, and customer presentations
