    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Executes assigned Fuel Hydrant System/Loop Operation Services. 
    • Performs specified fuel Operations tasks in accordance with applicable technical orders, publications, checklists, and forms.  
    • Ensures an effective tool control program is established and maintained.
    • Ensures Aircraft parking and work area(s) are free of Foreign Objects Damage (FOD).
    • Ensures all required technical orders, publications, checklists, and forms are maintained, as applicable.
    • Completes all fuel system, vehicle, maintenance, training, and other forms/documents required as part of an effective Aircraft Fuels Services program.
    • Safely operates standard and specialized vehicles and equipment to perform Operations tasks.
    • Follows a comprehensive Safety program.
    • Follows a comprehensive and properly documented Fuel Hydrant System/Loop training program.
    • Complies with contractor’s work requirements, to include scheduling, work performance, worker supervision, and quality control.
    • Meets with the government’s quality assurance person and other government personnel, as directed.
    • Properly uses and safeguards all government property provided for contractor use (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).
    • Monitors subcontractors used to provide direct support in meeting the contract requirements, as directed.
    • Follows company policies; to include accurate time keeping and reporting; safety, property, and quality control..
    • Performs other related duties as required.

     

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Fuel Hydrant Operators must have a minimum of three (3) years of documented experience working in an aircraft fuel Hydrant Operations environment. Previous military experience operating in a contingency environment is strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience working with government contracts is desired.
    • Must possess the technical expertise and knowledge to Operate, Maintain and Repair the Fuel Hydrant System.
    • Must possess Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 2FOX1 or equivalent qualifications and certifications.
    • Must be able to pass a flight line access test and obtain a flight line access badge.

     

    LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Must have valid U.S. Driver’s License and be able to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.
    • Must be Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPPER) certified and maintain certification throughout the period of employment.

     

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    Must have good verbal and writing skills; be familiar with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    Workers will work on and adjacent to active flight line operations and may be exposed to hazardous noise; must wear hearing protection. Other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be worn to avoid skin and eye contact with fuels; may include splash, face, eye and hand PPE.   Workers may be required to push, pull, and lift heavy equipment (up to fifty pounds), and work in austere location with extreme hot and cold weather conditions.  Each employee is responsible for understanding and practicing appropriate safety procedures.

    1. Works near various types of fixed wing and rotary aircraft on the flight line.
    2. Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U.S. interests.
    3. Must be able to operate, move, equipment such as special vehicles and operate hydrant fueling systems.
    4. Must be able to communicate in English, and able to use portable or vehicle equipped radios to maintain radio contact with flight line operators.
    5. Must be physically able and willing to work long hours to meet mission and contract requirements.

     

    TRAVEL: Ability to travel internationally. 100% Overseas assignment.

    SECURITY CLEARANCE:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a valid U.S. Passport.

    • Must have a DoD Interim or Secret Security Clearance. 

    • Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, and background checks, etc.
