The Sr. Director of Platform Product Management for Mobile ID & US Ecosystem is a highly visible, high-impact role. The successful candidate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and a “role up the sleeves” drive to make that vision a reality by inspiring and empowering global teams.

     

    IDEMIA Mobile ID platform is at the heart of the IDEMIA digital strategy, enabling secure remote interaction during critical transactions such as customer onboarding, National Digital ID document issuance, account recovery/takeover protection, and step-up capabilities. IDEMIA solutions involve integration of multiple third parties data sources such as trusted system or records, in-house world leading biometric capabilities as well as secure credentials solution on smart devices. IDEMIA Digital ID platform value is focusing on these areas:

    The Mobile ID platform leader will be responsible for managing the global roadmap of the scalable, agile and efficient mobile ID platform to support IDEMIA global digital identity strategy. This includes managing the build-out of new technologies, new applications and leveraging key technology partnerships. This includes defining and executing on key differentiators and innovations that will help IDEMIA maintain its leadership position in this strategic market.

     

    The Mobile ID platform leader will define the platform global vision and its associated governance in coordination with worldwide business units and Digital ID Product leaders. The role includes both strategic alignment as well as ability to deliver a world-class platform coordinating all IDEMIA key talents toward our goal (Product Owners, Engineering, SRE, Delivery).

     

    Required Skills

    Define, publish and implement the Mobile ID platform strategy that will position IDEMIA as the world leader in Digital ID.

    • Drive and align all key stakeholders (Strategy, Business, Research, Engineering) to build ONE vision for IDEMIA.

    Define, publish and implement the Mobile ID platform governance and roadmap processes

    Conduct the “make or buy” decision process for platform key technologies/assets in order to position IDEMIA as the global leader in Digital ID.

    Ensure the platform design meets global requirements:

    • Worldwide support
    • Scalable
    • Cloud first
    • Highest standards in data security and privacy

    Foster innovation in the digital ID IDEMIA group

    • Ensure our innovation process transforms Ideas into value for our customers.

    Act as the Direct Responsible Individual on the Mobile ID Platform roadmap.

    Propose and Build key differentiators for IDEMIA digital ID offers

    Support Corporate Strategy to evaluate and identify potential technology M&A targets.

    Interface closely with Business Units to ensure tight collaboration and achievement of IDEMIA growth objectives.

     

    DELIVERABLES & METRICS

    • The main KPI will be:
      • On time Platform and Product Roadmap Tollgates
      • Web and Mobile User experience metrics
      • Global Digital Identity issued and adoption rates
      • Global Digital Identity usage and adoption rates
    • Own Mobile ID platform budget and forecast
    • Steer the Platform governance (Product/Technical)
    • Deliver with the Platform and product management team Patents.
    • Deliver Pre-Sales training and materials to support go to market activities
    • Support strategic Alliances initiative

     

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Tech, or equivalent.
    • 10+ years of progressive people management and technology leadership roles in a B2B/B2G security, Identity, Biometrics, or enterprise SaaS/PaaS technology companies.
    • Technical expertise in integration of software solutions with experience in biometrics and identity subsystems such as multi-factor authentication, API security, social identity, identity proofing, user behavioral analytics, user-self-service, delegated administration, unified profile management, data privacy & consent, and identity intelligence. 
    • Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and bringing new software product/service concepts to market and growing them to market leadership in a multi-cultural, global context across a variety of stakeholders from sales, engineering, project management, user acceptance testing, and production support.
    • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional product management principles and practices.
    • Experience managing complex priorities, projects, clients, partners, and organizations.
    • Expert facilitator - managing conversations, synthesizing multiple points of view, and aligning on direction…all in an impartial and professional way. The temperament and skills to facilitate a wide variety of conversations at various levels of the organization, with the ability to influence and build productive relationships with key stakeholders, and confidence to push back where necessary
    • Proven experience managing remote resources and large global teams with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people to achieve results.
    • Business acumen and budget management (P&L) skills/metrics driven.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language, including the ability to explain and simplify data concepts and technologies to business leaders, explain business concepts to technologists and “sell” ideas and processes internally at all levels.
    • Passion for driving business, culture, and technology change in dynamic and complex operating environments.
    • Ability to travel up to 30%.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering or equivalent and/or Master of Business Administration.
    • Experience in one or more of the following: Cloud infrastructure, Cloud network architectures, hybrid Cloud methodologies, software as a service (SaaS), big data, security and privacy, development and operations, or artificial intelligence/machine learning.
    • Experience architecting, designing, administering, or developing applications in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
    • Working knowledge and experience with standards (ISO, NIST, W3C, etc.), compliance and regulatory frameworks, data protection, and Cloud security topics.
