    Job Description

    Company Description Together with the Westcoast Sales Team you are responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit by partnering with the Support Office to create a Controlling strategy to deliver the Best Customer Experience.

    Acting as a leader with strong analytical focus and a knowledge based approach, you support Districts and the Regional Team to enable the Best Teams from a controlling perspective.

    Job Description SALES & PROFIT

    INCREASE SELLING AND PROFITABILITY

    ·Set the budgets for financial sales plan, efficiency KPIs & store costs together with the Districts in line with the country goals

    ·Define and communicate the strategy to reach the goals together with the Regional Team

    ·Set goals for and follow-up commercial KPI’s (conversion rate, pcs/receipt, price per piece, visitors). Set action plans together with Regional team and District Teams to improve the commercial KPI’s.

    ·Continuously measure the results and follow-up on achievement of goals with the Districts

    ·Analyze together with the Regional team reasons for deviations to the budgets &/or plans and take actions on them together with the District Team

    ·Initiate and take part in follow-up and information meetings with the Regional & District Teams

    ·Together with District Controllers, support and follow up the commercial execution in stores of the actions taken by the Country Sales Team

    ·Be an ambassador for a profitability mind set

    ·Support District Controllers to ensure that function plan hours are set to enable strong Store Operations and the Best Customer Experience

    ·Follow-up to ensure ideal staff levels are set for each store according to the Function Plan

    ·Coach District Controllers on how to distribute hours according to sales and efficiency potential

    ·Together with the Regional ROTD, support the Districts in reaching desired ideal staff levels

    ·Support Districts in planning to secure operational best practices, including scheduling and resource allocation

    ·Support Districts in strong financial sales planning accuracy with the aim to improve efficiencies and service levels

    ·Make frequent store visits to align the analysis with the reality in stores

    ·Together with Merchandising, follow up on allocation parameters to ensure they are in line with the country allocation and reduction strategy enabling the optimal garment levels to maximize sales and profitability in every store

    ·Oversee and coach District Controllers to ensure the ideal garment delivery schedule per store to enable smooth garment flow to maximize selling

    ·Educate District and Store Teams on garment seasonality and how to improve stock freshness

    ·Ensure District Teams secure implementation of best practice operations and set-up in stock rooms in their stores

    PEOPLE & TEAMS

    ·Communicate clearly and in an inspiring way about business performance and goals to the Districts and Regional Team

    ·Partnership with Regional Manager & Regional Team to secure operational best practice routines in stores

    ·Team up with Merchandising and Logistics Teams on stock level management and delivery schedules

    ·Team up with Regional ROTD and District Teams to set optimal store staffing levels in each store

    ·Coordination with Country Controller (CFO) and partnership with Regional ROTD and HR Controller to ensure appropriate recruitment and trainings to secure succession of controlling talents and their development

    ·Support Regional Team members with clear analysis to support their development and actions

    ·Promote a positive feedback culture

    ·Educate Districts and Regional Teams on all controlling aspects

    ·Regular partnership with different support functions at the Country Support Office

    Qualifications ·Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with finance, business or economics major

    ·3 years of past retail experience, preferably in retail management

    ·3-5 years in a business analyst or similar finance role for a retail company preferred

    ·3+ years H&M District Controller experience preferred

    ·Strong commitment and experience with providing a high level of customer service

    ·Ability to coach and counsel staff and performance management and progressive discipline techniques

    ·Store orientation and commitment to store management development

    ·Proficient at Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to company specific systems

    ·Platform training skills and ability to communicate complex technical information in a simple and easy way

    ·Willingness to relocate preferred

    ·Ability to travel 2-3 days per week
