    Job Description

    WE SUPPORT AND LEAD DAY-TO-DAY TRANSPORT NEEDS, OPERATING STANDARDS, TRANSPORT SERVICE QUALITY AND LEAD TIME- AND COST PERFORMANCE

    RESPONSIBILITIES:   •    Optimize and execute all transport activities related to Final Mile shipments- and production forecasts •    Ensure a cost- and environmentally efficient transport  •    Transport budget & KPI owner; responsible for executing the agreed KPIs •    Execute and all transport improvements and projects •    Structure and follow up and all SOPs on a monthly basis together with  •    Contract management by initiating RFPs based on contract terms and conditions by structured archives •    RFP and negotiation participant for all OMNI distribution contracts connected to the assigned markets •    Manage Carrier relations by setting a follow up- and meeting structure to ensure that carrier KPIs are followed •    Set/ follow up on local transport activities to support reg./global OKR’s •    Set clear and defined personal development goals for each team member •    Manage compliance of our Final Mile fleet •    Translate business plans and forecast into demand for fleet & equipment needs

    Additional Accountability:  •    Contributes to the creation of Transportation budget of the Region •    Manages transportation costs and approves carrier’s charges  

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ROLE REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to manage final mile implementation and day to day operations • Knowledge of business processes such as profit and loss, profit margins, accounting, and other related principles • Negotiation and bidding experience • Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to work independently and in a high pressure, multi-personality, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment •Ability to establish and maintain relationships with peers, internal customers, and outside vendors

    MINIMUM CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: •    Bachelors Degree preferably in Supply Chain or International Business, or equivalent work experience  •    Extensive transportation background, preferably dealing with Ecommerce and Ship from Store solutions •    Experience in leading and supporting key city initiatives •    3 – 5 years of experience managing a team
