We are currently accepting applications for a CERTIFIED SEX OFFENDER TREATMENT PROFESSIONAL THERAPIST (CSOTP) to provide psychotherapy/case management as well as individual, and family therapy for resident adolescents 11 to 17 years of age. Qualified applicants must have:
- Master’s degree in a human services field
- Current License - LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc with CSOTP, preferred. Or, able to obtain license within 2 years.
- Two plus years of experience in treatment, and 2 years experience in supervisory role and/or program development.
- Two years or greater of professional experience working with adolescents in the field of mental health and/or sex offenders.
- Must be certified or able to become certified in CPR, first aid, AED, and Handle with Care.
- Must have valid Virginia Driver’s License in good standing.
- Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, risk assessment and crisis management.
- Able to provide individual, family and group therapies.
- Competence in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs necessary to provide care to the specific ages served.
- Able to communicate directly and effectively with physicians, diverse resident populations, families, and all levels of staff, both orally and in writing.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality, display maturity, and respect together with flexibility, diplomacy, and tactfulness.
- Microsoft Office Software/Applications.
